Riding the subway between midnight and 6 am....

Normally riding a subway train in NYC is not an experience you might regret...unless of course you ride between midnight and 6 am.  First of all, there are all kinds of service changes that turn a trip that would normally take 20 minutes into an hour.  But then there are the people.  For example, the time I got on the train at 5:15 am...and encountered Mr. Bloody Foot.  That's right...the creepster in the corner with no shoes on, staring into space, who had left a trail of blood down the center of the train along with a smattering of bloody tissues...  Needless to say, it was a long two minutes to the next stop when I could switch cars...
